HOPES
Health Centre
Role
Volunteers will work as an interdisciplinary team to care for clients from our target population by providing services within their scope of practice. Initially, due to low client volume, volunteers may also be asked to help organize supplies, assist at welcome/reception desk and to socialize with individuals in the waiting room.
Students in the Master of Health Administration program will act as the on site supervisors for the HOPES Health Centre.

Commitment
Students are expected to volunteer for a minimum of four Sunday shifts over the course of an academic term.
Students are asked to arrive at Dalhousie Health Services for 1:00 pm. The first half hour will be used to prepare the clinic for opening as well as a group huddle to coordinate the afternoon.
Services will be offered from 1:30-4:00pm. Volunteer shifts will conclude at 4:30 after a thirty minute debrief and clean up.
